Omdat cavia’s deze stof zelf niet aanmaken is dagelijks verstrekken vereist. Vitamine C, is belangrijk voor het beendergestel, het gebit en het bindweefsel. De in de tablet aanwezige vitamine C is stabiel en vervliegt dus niet. De tabletten met heerlijke sinaasappelsmaak worden goed gegeten en daarom is dit product ideaal als aanvulling op de dagelijkse voeding.
